Octavo, pp xvi, xxxvi, (ii), 432, 22, (14 page list of noblemen) index pages 433 -442, [a corrigenda and additions slip is tipped in after the last page, there is a loose leaf before the List of Noblemen containing a copy of a letter from John Swete - it is not clear if this was meant to be loose or if it was bound in at one time, pages 199-202 are detached but sound], edges uncut so a wide-margined copy, some age-toning and foxing throughout, various Victorian inscriptions on the front endpapers from the Chichester family, (Baronetcy of Raleigh in Devon), opposite the title page is the book label of H.P. Chichester-Clark, Victorian half calf, rubbed, worn at the corners, lower joint splitting but fairly firm, upper joint slightly cracked at top and bottom, the base of the spine slightly pulled. SCARCE.
