[Renvoize's article "From Fishing Poles and Ski Sticks to Vegetables and Paper - the Bamboo Genus Phyllostachys" contains three fine colour plates by Ann Farrer; Stearn's paper on new Epimedium from Sichuan has one plate by Christabel King; the Wakehurst article is not illustrated, but runs to 14 pages; there are two further plants illustrated - Helichrysum meyerijohannis and Skimmia japonica 'Wakehurst Place'.]
