Large octavo, pp xvi, 294, (not illustrated), a score-mark on the front endpaper, otherwise very clean internally, green cloth in very good condition, the dustwrapper is rather worn and torn. VERY SCARCE. [Loosely inserted is a sheaf of hand-written notes, (which I believe to be by C.A. Thorold), the bulk of these being "Lecture Notes on Sierra Leone". Another set of notes are written on, and almost obscure, the upper cover of an interesting pamphlet - "Programme of African Dances to be Given Under the Auspices of The Tribal Headmen of Freetown, April 10, 11 & 12, 1944; the remaining three pages are easier to read.]
