A set of the original printing in Transactions of the Linnean Society, 2nd Series Botany, parts VII, VIII & IX. In original blue paperback covers - Part VII - a very faint stain to the corner of the plates. Spine cracking slightly. Part VIII - Stitching a bit weak and cracking internally, lacking part of the paper spine. Very slight foxing and dustiness to the plates. Part 3 - Very slight foxing. Lacking part of the spine, but no real weakness. With a total of 36 plain litho plates. This first edition is very scarce, and particularly so in original wrappers.
